ochs und junior Pop-Up Store Basel

Before we open our new ochs und junior headquarters here in Lucerne, we'll do a little more travelling. Something we'll be doing on and off in future. As you know, ochs und junior watches are available from us in Lucerne and via the internet. 

Baselworld – the World Watch and Jewellery Show – is on next week. 

We'll be staffing our pop-up store between Thursday the 8th and Saturday the 10th of March – it's at  our friend Tim Delf's Zeitzentrale.

Bevor wir im April unseren neuen ochs und junior Hauptsitz öffnen reisen wir noch etwas in die Welt hinaus. Etwas was wir in Zukunft immer mal machen werden. Denn: ochs und junior Uhren gibt es direkt bei uns in Luzern oder über unsere Internetseite. 

Nächste Woche startet die weltweit wichtigste Uhrenmesse - die Baselworld. 

Zwischen Donnerstag dem 8. bis und mit dem Samstag 10. März sind wir bei unserem Freund Timm Delfs in seiner "Zeitzentrale" und bauen unseren Pop-Up Store auf!

We'll have all the ochs und junior watches there, exciting functions you can put together yourself, the world's most accurate moon phase indication, the new anno tinta, lots to talk about and the best espresso in the whole of Basel. It really worth the short 750 m walk from Baselworld to poetic Rebgasse 41.

anno cinquanta: red gold – rare! | Rotgold – rar!

Not just rare and handmade – it comes to us in Lucerne from Paul Gerber's workshop. 

The anno cinquanta with annual calendar function is the first watch we ever produced: it's been an archaic beauty since 2008. 

Rar und handgemacht und eben aus Paul Gerber's Atelier bei uns in Luzern eingetroffen. 

Der Jahreskalender anno cinquanta ist unsere erste Uhr und seit dem Jahr 2008, eine archaische Schönheit. 

The price of gold has almost doubled since that time (another reason why we've been using other materials such as titanium and brass for our new tinta concept). This anno cinquanta's heat-patinated solid gold dial, gold hands and case, milled from a block of red gold, are one-of-a-kind.

Seit dem Jahr 2008 hat sich der Goldpreis fast verdoppelt. Auch ein Grund warum wir mit unserem neuen Tinta Konzept Materialien wie Titan oder Messing nutzen. Das hitzepatinerte Goldzifferblatt, die Goldzeiger und das massive aus dem Vollen gefräste Rotgoldgehäuse allerdings sind einzigartig.

The half-moon heat-patinated gold rotor allows a partial view of Paul Gerber's classic proprietary movement. Polished screwheads, a work finish that's unadorned yet supremely elegant, a power reserve in excess of 100 hours.
