We're kicking off this year's blog with the watch that features an annual calendar indication: the new anno, which we first presented back in November. We don't think it will ever be possible to produce such an ambitious calendar version with fewer parts. The anno is a fascinating instrument that indicates the time, the date, the month, the weekday and day/night without resorting to any alphanumeric markings whatsoever. Pure function!
Herzlich ein gutes neues Jahr an alle ochs und junior Freunde!
Wir beginnen es auf dem Ochsenblog mit der Uhr mit dem Zeithorizont des Jahres: Dem neuen Jahreskalender anno - eben im November 2012 vorgestellt. Diese anspruchsvolle Kalenderversion mit weniger Bauteilen zu realisieren wird vermutlich nicht möglich sein. Die anno ist ein faszinierendes Instrument welches neben der Zeit das Datum, den Monat, den Wochentag und Tag/Nacht ganz ohne Zahlen und Buchstaben anzeigt. Funktion pur!

ochs und junior allows you to choose your favourite colour. We asked our photographer to put together three variations. She duly complied and snapped them in appropriate settings. Pastel shades... These three annos can currently be seen 'in the flesh' at the oxloft here in Lucerne – or they can be ordered from us directly. Our webshop will soon be up and running.
